The 2nd Annual Karaoke New Mexico Championship has been restructured to coincide with the Karaoke World Championships USA. Our championship is now  an official part of the Karaoke World Championships process.  We have changed our contest format, rules & judging to match the World Championships structure; and, as a result, your venue now has a chance to be a part of the 2010 State Championship and Karaoke World Championships USA network, where you’ll have even more flexibility and profitability than you did during the 2009 Championship.  Brian Scott of Ruidoso went on from our 2009 Championship to WIN the KWC/USA National Male Championship, so don’t miss out the chance to have the 2010 Champ come from your venue!

The biggest change for 2010 is that now participating venues will be able to run unlimited preliminary contests in order to qualify 6 singers to compete in the State Championship.  Once you sign up and pay your fee,  we will promptly ship your Official Venue Kit, and you can immediately begin holding preliminary contests between now and May 31, 2010. 

Venues are allowed to promote their contests on the dates they desire, and venues are now required to use their own judges for their contests.  Our 2010 Platinum Sponsor Shiner Bock will supply you with customized promotional banners and prizes if you contact your Maloof distribution representative after you’ve signed up. Karaoke New Mexico does NOT require your venue to charge a cover charge or singer registration fee.  ALL MONEY YOU MAKE AT YOUR PRELIMINARY CONTESTS YOU KEEP!

Being a part of this event and having your singers start their road to victory in your venue will potentially give your venue and town the bragging rights of being home to the State, National or WORLD champion.  The statewide and worldwide exposure for your venue as a karaoke option for traveling singers will make your watering hole a fan favorite all over New Mexico.
